Walking round Poole Park as the sun was shining and not very many clouds in the blue sky, I lost myself for a while day dreaming. You would have thought it was a beautiful spring day, as it was sunny and all the Canada geese were out feeding. But alas, as the northerly wind whipped through the park bringing with it a minus-something windchill, I was rapidly brought back to reality.
Yes, its February and its cold but I am thankful for the sun and not being up north where they have had yet another snow dump. The days are getting longer and the thought of wanting to go kitesurfing again is at the fore front of my mind. My kit is all ready to go, it is up to me now to dust myself off and stop thinking of how cold it will be!
Lots to keep me busy in the mean time as the Dinghy Show is on in a few weeks and the launch of Rockley's Poole Park centre is not far away. So I will continue my day dreaming and thoughts of a warm spring!
